Position: Physician Assistant – PART TIME
Location: Grand Blanc, MI
Department: Neurosurgical
Required Qualifications: License through State of Michigan
Preferred Qualifications: State of MI licensure, experience in neurosurgery setting highly desired
Hours: average 20-30hrs/wk, on call (shared & rotated), weekend hospital rounds (shared & rotated)
Job Details: Ideal candidate will have prior experience working in neurosurgery. Candidate will conduct clinical data research, meet & greet physicians, and also act as Practice Liason. Some of the general duties include performing comprehensive and problem focused histories and physical examinations, interpreting laboratory and diagnostic tests. Develop treatment plans for neurosurgical conditions. Some of the hospital duties include being the first assistant in surgery, closure of deep and superficial wounds. Conduct hospital rounds daily of all patients: including intensive care, writing orders, progress notes, perform admission history and physicals, and order appropriate tests. Evaluate and clarify clinical conditions, formulate and implement a treatment and therapeutic plan for hospitalized patients, discharge planning, dictate discharge summaries, and call coverage. Some office duties include evaluate new office patients and complete a thorough history and physical examination that is problem oriented for neurosurgical conditions. Evaluate postoperative patients and routine follow-up visits. Return phone calls from patients, handle prescription refills, and review radiographic reports. They will also be reviewing X-Rays, MRI’s, and CT scan results for patients. This position could require participating in surgeries. Part of the position will be covering the ICU
Salary & Benefits:BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND NEGOTIABLE

Full time Medical Records Clerk needed for large specialty office in Flint. Positions core duties: process high volume of medical records requests using fax server, and review/retrieve records requests via US Mail. Position also involves reviewing independent records and directing them to the billing department. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, and insurances required. Candidates must have accurate data entry skills, ability to handle very high volumes of work daily, prioritize duties, and work either in a team or single setting.

$9.50/hr to start
Monday-Friday 1st shift
